Who we are

2008 Architas Multi-Manager Ltd is born.

We started in the UK with £3.5 billion assets under management – and just 10 employees 
(Source: Architas, 2008).

AXA Private Management created in France.

Architas joins AXA Private Management in France and Belgium, as well as acquiring the multi-manager business of AXA Investment Managers (UK). Becoming a multi-manager hub for AXA in Europe, handling close to €30 billion of multi manager assets. (Source: Architas, 2015).

In line with becoming a multi-manager hub for AXA in Europe, Architas establishes a presence in Germany and Italy.

Integration of AXA Life Invest - expansion into Asia.

Architas Ltd is formed and company registered in France to align the Architas entities as part of its long-term strategy. Architas leads the AXA Group Sign Off Committee, cementing its position as the investment partner for the AXA entities and Architas excellence for fund selection within the AXA Group.

Architas Ltd acquires Architas Multi-Manager Europe Limited (AMMEL) and opens an office in Dublin.

Architas launches Architas Asia Limited, based in Hong Kong.

AXA Asset Management Indonesia becomes Architas Asset Management Indonesia, growing our footprint in Asia.

UK adviser focused part of the business is sold as the business realigns to focus on delivering becoming the exclusive Unit Linked partner for the AXA Group.

Architas launches first SFDR Article 9 fund in the new E.P.I.C range, allowing investors to make ethical and prosperous investment choices.

To fuel the growth of the next phase of development of the Architas business, in January a new business unit was created within AXA IM with the primary objective to simplify our offering for our clients and provide them with a one-stop shop for UL products and services.

Architas rebrands to AXA IM Select. This gave a clear signal that we are part of the AXA IM ecosystem and delivered a number of benefits on behalf of our clients. This included allowing us to benefit from the knowledge and expertise of teams across AXA IM whilst maintaining our business unit specific expertise and retail focus as well as enabling us to leverage the global presence and reputation of worldwide leader in insurance and asset management under the AXA brand umbrella.
