Equity markets have rallied sharply from the lows seen in March. Confidence is back, boosted by huge government stimulus and central bank support, and markets are now racing to get ahead of the forecast V-shaped recovery. Our discussion today will consider whether these markets have broken too early, anticipating a sharp recovery when there is still little evidence of a speedy return to economic growth or corporate profitability. We will also outline recent tactical asset allocation changes, as well as what adjustments could be made over the coming months.
